A starter kit for self-hosting your own life

Self-hosting has a reputation for being a hobby for people who like fixing servers at 2am. It doesn't have to be. Start with one thing: a password manager, a note-taking app, a finance tracker — anything that currently lives in someone else's cloud for no good reason.

Our own list starts with Lyncost for finances, a local Markdown vault for notes, and a Raspberry Pi running exactly two services. Boring is the goal.
